Co-founded and designed brand visuals for 518 Asian Alliance—the first women-led, inter-generational support and advocacy collective for Asians and Asian-Americans in the Capital Region, which was formed in March 2021 following a Stop Asian Hate rally in Albany, NY in response to the alarming surge of anti-Asian hate crimes and xenophobia across the United States.
Inspired by the bakers box created by With Warm Welcome. I co-created the Baked Traditions bakers box as one of 518 Asian Alliance’s early initiatives, along with creative and communications. Baked Traditions is a series of limited-run bakers boxes featuring desserts and pastries that celebrate traditional flavors from Asian cultures. The goal is to amplify small Asian-owned businesses in the Capital Region (compensations included), with partial proceeds to support local causes and non-profit organizations.
Social media graphics and communications created to promote the bakers box, including vector illustrations of the featured baked goods, and short bios of the bakers.
Packaging of the boxes included cards with information on each baked goods printed on the back, with all four cornered tucked into the lid and which then can be easily removed.
